“Innovation is change that unlocks new value.” ~Jamie Notter
This course helps you to connect and identify with your inner character and see that each stage of your life built you into the valuable person you are today.
Geri Burke is a former corporate cube dweller & slippery ladder climber, now a crossing over survivor & changemaker helping changemakers make real change in their lives. She spent over 25 years as a RF Satellite Navigation Engineer working with giants like Motorola and Northrop Grumman.
"When I became an engineer and began climbing the corporate ladder I never thought I would ever be anything but an engineer. But, two decades and two master's degrees later I realized I was caught in a corporate world where profit mattered more than doing the right things. Innovative ideas which could truly transform markets were regularly competing with bottom lines and quarterly reports.
Have you ever felt as though something wasn't quite right? Like something really important was missing in your life? That was me. I had a great job, but there was something missing.
After 20+ years in advanced systems and engineering, developing new technologies for new markets, I decided to apply my love of strategic innovation to help others believe in their insights and step boldly forward to bring those insights into reality.
In 2009 I began to use my expertise in strategic growth to help those affected by the bad economy. A newspaper article "led" me to work with those who had been laid off from Cape Canaveral as the Space Shuttle program closed down. Then I volunteered at my church's job ministry. There is a saying that you teach what you need to learn. By helping others get past what had been holding them back I began to realize things that were holding me back and decided to make myself over from the inside out.
As a lifetime learner I have always been fascinated with philosophy and the great thinkers. My clients describe me as a "spiritual strategist" and an "enlightened analyst". I've always had a deep spiritual connection and a love of strategic thinking, connecting where I am with where I wanted to be someday and "seeing" a path to get there. I combined this new understanding of inner focus with my background in strategic innovation and system processes, and turned my life completely around. My life is full of joy and purpose. Each day I put energy into empowering others to feel fabulous about their lives."
